Analysis of Digital Citizenship & Online Safety Case-Studies from Other School Programs
I will be talking about how the school is starting to change. Some schools are developing technologically allowing students to use their phones and make them into internet mature people.
A school that has implemented technology into their education is Bainbridge Island District 303. This school has implemented in schooled based activities include awareness and resources related to Internet safety and cyberbullying. They support the need for children to become familiar and make responsible choices on the internet. The main themes in NetSmartz are online predators, revealing too much information and lastly cyber-bullying.
In addition, British International School Istanbul, like both of the schools above it gives access to all sorts of technology. Part of its school activities is related to online safety and digital citizenship. Even becoming units of there own for students at BISI to learn.
